By replacing the use of either cash or scrip systems with stored-value, event-specific collectible smart cards, concession transactions are significantly faster and larger, increasing total sales revenues and decreasing the time event attendees spend waiting in line to purchase concessions. Cashless smart card events also provide new levels of security and control and decrease the costs associated with cash handling, including labor, security, insurance and exposure to theft.
Cashless events and venues have experienced nearly 10 years of success and growth in Europe. Total Venue Control was founded to transfer this proven technology to sports and entertainment events across the United States. We implemented the first cashless professional sports stadium in 2008 in Wichita, Kansas. Our management team has a 3-decade track record of success in the US sports and entertainment industry.
Operating more as a partner than as a traditional service provider, TVC works closely with event planners, operators and concessionaires to implement and operate our proprietary payment and reporting system. We provide all the products, services and staff necessary to successfully implement our cashless smart card payment system. This includes battery-operated wireless point-of-sale equipment, smart card design and production, cash handling services, a complete onsite sales and customer service staff, and an onsite operations manager.
